We rigorously test all fiber optic assemblies. Field-terminated assemblies are seldom subjected to the same rigorous testing that our fiber production facility routinely conducts. Included in these are the optical-loss test and end-face inspection which are specified by the EIA Fiber Optic Test Procedures requiring special equipment and microscopes.
